Headaches and Migraines

Chiropractic care can often be effective in managing headaches and migraines. Many headaches, particularly tension and cervicogenic headaches, stem from musculoskeletal issues in the neck and upper spine. Spinal adjustments and manual therapies are used to reduce joint restrictions, improve spinal function, and decrease inflammation, which can help alleviate headache symptoms. For migraine sufferers, we may also reduce the frequency and severity of attacks by addressing nervous system imbalances and muscular tension. In addition to adjustments, our experienced staff can provide lifestyle and ergonomic advice to help prevent headache triggers for long-term relief.

Back and Neck Pain

Our knowledgeable doctors have a non-invasive approach for the treatment of back and neck pain. We focus on diagnosing and managing musculoskeletal disorders, particularly those involving the spine. Hands-on spinal manipulation and other manual techniques are used to help restore joint mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall function. Many patients find relief from chronic or acute back and neck issues through regular chiropractic adjustments, which may also be complemented by exercises, lifestyle advice, and posture correction. Our holistic approach aims not only to alleviate symptoms but also to address underlying causes, promoting long-term spinal health and well-being.

Numbness and Tingling

Chiropractic care can be an effective treatment for numbness and tingling, especially when these sensations are caused by nerve compression or dysfunction of the spine. Our experienced doctors use various spinal adjustments and manipulations to relieve pressure on the nerves, particularly in areas like the neck or lower back, where nerve roots can become pinched. By restoring proper function and improving nerve flow, we can help reduce or eliminate the symptoms of numbness and tingling, which are often associated with conditions like sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, or cervical radiculopathy. Regular chiropractic adjustments, along with exercises and lifestyle modifications, can promote long-term relief by improving spinal health and supporting the nervous system.

Spinal Disorders

Our skillful chiropractors have a non-invasive treatment approach that focuses on diagnosing and managing spinal disorders, particularly those related to musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. The core philosophy of chiropractic care is based on the belief that proper spinal biomechanics are essential for the nervous system to function optimally. We use hands-on spinal manipulation and other manual techniques to restore normal biomechanics of the spine, alleviate pressure on nerves, and improve mobility. By addressing issues like herniated discs, sciatica, and subluxations, we can help reduce pain, enhance flexibility, and promote overall wellness. Many of our patients seek our care not only for pain relief but also for preventive maintenance, as it supports the body’s natural ability to heal and function efficiently.

Shoulder, Knee, Hip, Ankle, Wrist Injuries

Our experienced doctors offer a holistic approach to treating a variety of musculoskeletal injuries, including those affecting the shoulder, knee, hip, wrist, and ankle. Spinal adjustments, joint mobilizations, and soft tissue therapies are used to alleviate pain, reduce inflammation, and restore mobility. These treatments are particularly effective for addressing spinal dysfunction, joint stiffness, and muscle imbalances that can occur following an injury. We focus on restoring function to the affected joints, optimizing movement, and supporting long-term recovery. The goal is to not only relieve pain but also to correct underlying issues to prevent further injuries and improve overall function. By combining manual therapies with lifestyle guidance and exercises, we can help individuals regain strength, mobility, and quality of life after an injury.

Non-Surgical Disc Treatment

Herring Spine & Rehab offers a non-surgical approach to treating disc-related issues in the spine, particularly for individuals suffering from herniated, bulging, or degenerated discs. By using spinal manipulation and other therapeutic techniques, we aim to alleviate pressure on the affected discs, promote healing, and restore proper function. These treatments can help reduce pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall function without the need for invasive surgery. Additionally, complementary therapies such as stretching, strengthening exercises, and ergonomic advice may be included to prevent future disc problems and support long-term spinal health. These provide a natural and often highly effective alternative for those seeking relief from disc-related discomfort while avoiding the risks and recovery times associated with surgery.

Automobile Accidents, Workers’ Comp, and Personal Injury

Chiropractic care is a vital component of recovery for individuals who have suffered injuries from automobile accidents, workers’ compensation cases, or other personal injury incidents. These types of injuries often result in musculoskeletal issues such as whiplash, back pain, joint dysfunction, or soft tissue damage, which our experienced providers are specially trained to diagnose and treat. Through non-invasive, drug-free techniques like spinal adjustments, therapies, and rehabilitative exercises, our care helps reduce pain, restore mobility, and support long-term healing. Additionally, we can work alongside attorneys and insurance providers to document injuries and provide the necessary reports to support claims, as an essential part of the recovery and legal process for those involved in accidents or on-the-job injuries.
